POSITION: DRIVERS X 2
Harakati Logistics Zambia Limited is a company that is in the transportation and logistics business. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Drivers to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to collect parts from suppliers on time
- Work occasional evenings and weekends
- Complete daily maintenance checks vehicles and notify manager of any issues.
- Loads product on truck for delivery when necessary.
- Checks condition of load for safe transportation, and rearranges as necessary.
- Reports unusual traffic conditions and other hazards noted enroute
- Reports promptly any unusual delays or difficulties regarding delivery sites.
- Unloading product carefully.
- Keeps record of time, mileage, pallets shipped and received, any mechanical problems and general remarks.
- Reports all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
- Maintains vehicle and equipment.
- Inspects vehicle and required parts and accessories to determine safe operating condition.
- Uses and cares properly for all equipment assigned to the driver for the performance of duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
- Ensures the trucks are clean and well maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Able to drive driven Chinese trucks Sino , shacman and FAW trucks.
- Valid Drivers Licence CE ,PSV ,DG.
- 3 to 5 years experience.
- Valid Passport.
- Cross Boarder Driver
