Power Tools Logistics is looking for self-motivated individuals to work as Route Operations Officers. The operations officer’s functions is ensuring effective and efficient transport service in the organization.
Job Purpose
Must possess good communication skills, with emphasis on the ability to manage, monitor and implement procedures for effective operational flow and must produce and distribute information across different units within and outside the firm.
Responsibilities:
· Managing Bus Time Table
· Supervision of Staff (Coach Drivers)
· Ensure Bus is roadworthy
· Resolve customer complaints
· Handle delays, accidents and emergencies
· Handle breakdowns
· Bus inspections
· Develop and implement plans that will lead to improvement in Sales and Ticket
· Implement management recommendations like proposed fees and change in movement schedule
· Take charge of investigations that look into customer complaints regarding product delivery and other transportation – associated issues
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Logistics and Transport
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in transport and logistics field
- Valid Practicing License from Zambia Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good time management abilities
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills
