We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Field Sales & Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining barbering machines (clippers, trimmers, etc.), as well as selling machines, parts, and accessories directly to barber shops and salons.
You will work in the field, building strong relationships with clients, ensuring their equipment is running smoothly, and promoting our latest products and accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit barber shops and salons to service and repair barbering machines.
- Diagnose and fix technical issues on-site or in our workshop.
- Provide product demonstrations and training on proper machine maintenance.
- Actively promote and sell machines, accessories, and consumables.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, sales, and customer feedback.
- Build strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist with inventory management and re-ordering of stock.
Key Requirements:
- Technical experience in repairing small electrical appliances or barbering equipment.
- Previous experience in field sales, customer service, or a similar client-facing role is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently in the field.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and well-organized.
- Valid Rider's license and willingness to travel regularly will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of barbering tools and equipment is a plus.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical or mechanical repair preferred.
Sales certification or experience in product sales (preferred but not required).
