Job Title: Boiler Makers X4
To cut, shape, assemble and weld to construct and repair metal products and structures for Horse and trailers.
Responsibilities
- Inspect all trucks in the workshop for cracks
- Check wearing on rubbing plates and wear plates
- Check cabin floor for rust or rotten components, report and repair accordingly
- Welding of aluminium tanks
- Reinforcement of trailer and horse chassis
- Weld cracks and reinforce trailers and horses
- Undertake preventive and corrective welding services on trucks and trailers.
- Welding all required work for workshops or any other department
- Ensure that the OHSE rules are followed and ensure safe working area.
- Report any problems / delays to the supervisor.
- Maintain condition of Tools and Equipment and take responsibility for technical and aesthetic standards thereof.

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in metal fabrication.
Requirements
- Full grade 12 certificate
- Craft certificate in Metal Fabrication or its equivalent.
- Technical skills in a similar working environment
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in a similar environment.
