Food Processing Superintendent
The Food Processing superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities involved in the further processing of different fish products beyond the primary processing, including filleting, gutting & scaling, etc. He/she is responsible for achieving the targets required for the markets while maintaining high quality and hygiene standards.
Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Technology of production and processing, Aquaculture, Fisheries Technology, Production Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a meat or fish processing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage production teams in a fast-paced, high-volume processing environment.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO, and food safety management systems.
- Demonstrates knowledge of productivity, efficiency and hygiene standards
