Zimworx is seeking a highly skilled and driven Project Manager to lead and execute a range of strategic projects across our international operations. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, this role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and execution capabilities, with a proven track record in managing cross-functional and cross-country initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery to agreed quality, cost, and time standards.
- Define governance structures, reporting frameworks, and communication protocols for effective project execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, HR, IT, Finance, Facilities) and external partners to drive alignment and accountability.
- Serve as the main point of contact for project updates, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and issues early, and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
- Support strategic growth projects, including market expansion, new site setup, and technology rollouts.
- Manage documentation such as MOUs, project charters, and partnership agreements to ensure compliance and clarity.
- Drive change management, ensuring smooth implementation of new initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation (charters, budgets, schedules, risk logs, lessons learned).
- Champion continuous improvement and standardization of project management methodologies across teams.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management, preferably in complex, multi-country, or high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies and tools (MS Project, Asana, Jira, Trello, Monday.com).
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategic goals into actionable project plans.
- Experience managing MOUs, contracts, and partnership agreements is an advantage.
- Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master is a strong plus.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
