Zimworx is looking for an Adjudicator to support background screening and compliance operations by delivering accurate, consistent, and well-documented adjudication outcomes. This role is responsible for reviewing background check reports in alignment with FCRA guidelines and client-specific adjudication matrices, ensuring decisions are precise, defensible, and audit-ready.
Responsibilities:
Review and adjudicate background check reports in accordance with FCRA guidelines and established adjudication standards, ensuring decisions are accurate, consistent, and well-documented.
Apply legal, regulatory, and compliance principles when evaluating screening results, with the ability to interpret complex compliance language and requirements.
Prepare clear, professional written summaries and rationales to support adjudication outcomes and escalation decisions.
Navigate and utilize multiple systems and applications efficiently, demonstrating the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and workflows.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and organization when handling sensitive information, with strong attention to detail across all cases.
Analyze large volumes of data to identify discrepancies, gaps, or inconsistencies, and take appropriate action to resolve or escalate findings in line with process guidelines
Requirements:
Proven experience as a background check adjudicator, with demonstrated ability to review and evaluate screening results accurately and consistently.
Legal qualification or prior experience in a legal or compliance-related environment is preferred.
Strong technical proficiency and computer literacy, with the ability to work efficiently across multiple systems and quickly learn new applications.
