PURPOSE
To physically check and weigh all incoming trucks bringing raw materials and all trucks taking out finished products, verifying that invoices and delivery notes correspond with items delivered.
STATEMENT OF MAIN DUTIES
- Check and ensure that the goods delivered correspond with what is on the invoices and delivery notes.
- Controlling the flow of incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Weighing of items like copper cathodes, Aluminium, steel wire, PVC Compound, etc., to ascertain and verify that the quantities received match those indicated on the invoices.
- Responsible for the implementation, understanding and compliance of safety rules of the area, ensuring compliance to ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSMS 45001.
- Carry out monthly BBS and PRD observations.
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
CONSEQUENCE OF ERROR
Accounts payables and inventories may be under or overstated, resulting in distorted company liabilities and assets.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Education: Grade 12
Qualification: On-the-job training
Pre-Job Experience: Knowledge of ZAMEFA products
Physical Skills: Dexterity of fingers to operate a computer
Written Skills: Clarity in writing reports
Human Relations: Ability to relate to peers and superiors
