International Maarif Schools Lusaka is seeking a highly disciplined and professional Professional Head Driver to provide premium transportation services to our senior leadership team. This role is vital for facilitating official school operations and maintaining our inter-governmental relations.
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will provide high-level professional driving services to the Schools Senior officials. You will also be responsible for executing official Ministry and Embassy errands with the highest level of efficiency and discretion.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
l Team Leadership: Leads and supervises the team of Drivers to ensure high standards of discipline and efficiency across the school's fleet.
l Diplomatic Conduct: Maintains professional chauffeur behavior specifically tailored for Diplomatic and Senior Staff, ensuring absolute discretion and decorum at all times.
l Ministry Errands: Facilitates mobility for official Ministry and Embassy duties, ensuring the timely delivery or collection of documents, materials, and equipment.
l Compliance & Roadworthiness: Rigorously checks and ensures all vehicles meet fitness and roadworthiness standards through regular and rigorous inspections.
l Accountability: Oversees and completes log books accurately and in a timely manner to enhance accountability for all official executive journeys.
l Fleet Maintenance: Ensures the designated executive fleet is kept in a pristine, clean, and mechanically sound condition to project a professional image of the School.
l General Support: Attends to assigned general work as assigned when there are no active driving duties.
Requirements & Qualifications
+ Education: Must possess a valid Grade 12 School Certificate.
+ Licensing: Must hold a valid PSV Driver’s License with an impeccable driving record.
+ Experience: Proven experience in executive, diplomatic, or "Head Driver" roles is highly desirable.
+ Attributes: Strong leadership skills, high-level professional grooming, and profound knowledge of local traffic laws and Ministry protocols.
