About the role:
Our Client is seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join their team as a Business Strategy Associate. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Country Manager in executing strategic initiatives and managing day-to-day operations, while also contributing to the formulation and implementation of business strategies to drive sustainable growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy and Planning:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive dynamics within the sector.
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of strategic plans, business development initiatives, and expansion projects.
- Analyze financial data, performance metrics, and operational KPIs to assess business performance and inform decision-making.
- Support the development of business cases, feasibility studies, and investment proposals for new projects and ventures.
- Collaborate with other team members on strategic initiatives of the company
- Gather market intelligence on industry trends and competition, supporting continuous evaluation of strategic aims and informed decision-making
Project Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and risk management activities.
- Track project budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasts to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and operational targets.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Facilitate communication and coordination between internal departments, external partners, and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in the preparation of communications materials, press releases, and marketing collateral to promote the brand and initiatives.
- Engage with community stakeholders, local leaders, and government agencies to foster positive relationships and support community development initiatives.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, business development, project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and build relationships at all levels.
- Proven organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability, social responsibility, and community engagement.
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving and presentation/report writing skills, combined with a good understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers.
- Highly motivated, committed, and flexible when dealing with changing priorities and strict deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and build effective working relationships internally and externally.
- Self-starter with superior work ethic and uncompromising personal integrity
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with limited supervision (including proactively seeking guidance when needed)

Compensation:
