Qualifications
i. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or a related field.
ii. Registered member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
Experience and Competencies
1. Minimum of 5–10 years’ experience in road construction surveying.
2. Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with the ability to generate, process, and interpret survey and design data.
3. Experienced in earthworks volume calculations and quantity measurement using Civil 3D for preparation of Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs).
4. Hands-on experience with GPS, Total Station, and other modern surveying equipment.
5. Knowledge of both horizontal and vertical road alignment design and setting out.
6. Strong understanding of surveying principles, methods, and best practices.
7. Must provide traceable references.
