About the Role:
Sagemcom E&T Zambia is looking for a Country Manager to rapidly scale our business and impact in Zambia.
We are looking for an experienced leader who can scale our operations across the country and identify and implement new business opportunities. This role will report to our Head Office
Your responsibilities will include:
· Business Development:
Identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with local clients and partners, in line with the Group's strategy.
· Cost Monitoring:
Controlling costs at the center level, optimizing expenses.
You have experience working with targets and budgets
· General Management:
Overseeing administrative management, ensuring legal, tax,
and HR compliance.
Ensuring team motivation, the company's image, and adherence to ESG
standards.
· Operational Support:
Providing logistical and organizational support to ensure the successful execution of field projects.
· Local Representation:
Acting as the Company’s Ambassador to Authorities, partners and key skateholders.
Your Profile:
Starting: 01/05/2026
Education: Master’s degree in business or finance
Experience: 10 years plus of professional experience, of which 5 years experience in similar or responsible role, ideally in telecom or energy projects
Excellent management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Communication skills and the ability to motivate and raise awareness among teams.
Leadership spirit and sensitivity to environmental and social issues.
Software: MS Office
Knowledge Of Industry knowledge - Knowledge of A/C & D/C, Solar knowledge will be a plus
