The Site Supervisor will oversee daily cleaning operations at assigned client locations, ensuring service quality, team productivity, and compliance with company standards and Zambian labour regulations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage staff, maintain discipline, and ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily cleaning activities at assigned site(s)
- Lead and coordinate cleaning teams to meet service standards
- Ensure tasks are completed according to schedules and checklists
- Monitor quality control and conduct routine site inspections
- Maintain attendance records and manage shift scheduling
- Enforce workplace safety and hygiene standards
- Report operational issues to the Operations Manager
- Ensure compliance with Zambian labour requirements and company policies
- Handle minor disciplinary matters in line with labour regulations
- Maintain cleaning equipment and inventory control
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients on-site
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years proven cleaning experience (commercial cleaning preferred)
- At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role (preferred)
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and equipment
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards
- Basic understanding of Zambia labour requirements
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Grade 12 certificate (minimum requirement)
