Position Overview
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Training and Investigation Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering staff training programs, conducting internal investigations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations, and supporting overall operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs for security personnel.
- Ensure there is steady supply of Security Personnel to meet existing and new guarding post
- Conduct induction training for new recruits.
- Organize refresher courses, drills, and compliance training sessions.
- Train company gun handlers in liaison with the state requirements
- Streamline current training manuals to suit modern security expectations
- Maintain accurate training records and certification documentation.
- Assess training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Investigations & Compliance
- Conduct internal investigations into incidents, complaints, and misconduct.
- Thoroughly investigate all claims of theft or loss of company property and advise Management over the same.
- Gather evidence, interview involved parties, and prepare detailed investigation reports.
- Liaise with the Police to ensure police reports are obtained and ensure the same reports are submitted to Management for further action.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and industry regulations.
- Carry out investigations on past records of new employees as delegated by Management.
- Handle firearm license in collaboration with Zambia Police
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Liaise with management and external authorities when required
- Any other duties as maybe assigned from time to time by Management
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Law, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in security operations, training and investigations, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of security procedures and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proven experience conducting investigations and preparing formal reports.
