Its Head Office is located in the Lusaka’s Light Industrial Area along Nampundwe Road, Off Mumbwa Road. In its quest to maintain quality service delivery, the company seeks to recruit qualified highly motivated and goal-oriented professionals to fill the following positions.
1. Mechanical Fitter (5 Positions)
Job Overview
The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure efficient and uninterrupted production operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine and breakdown maintenance during assigned shifts
• Maintain standby equipment in good working condition
• Execute preventive and annual maintenance schedules
• Ensure timely completion of all maintenance activities
• Support implementation of 5S and plant performance improvement initiatives
• Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures for personnel and equipment
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Craft Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in FMCG, food processing, or related industry
• Practical experience with pumps, compressors, gearboxes, blowers, and mechanical systems
• Good knowledge of equipment safety and workplace safety standards
2. Machinist (2 Positions)
Job Overview
The Machinist will be responsible for machining, fabrication, and repair of mechanical components to support plant maintenance and ensure availability of critical spare parts.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out machining works in accordance with HSE standards
• Operate lathe, milling, drilling, and other workshop machines
• Maintain workshop equipment in good condition
• Fabricate and repair machine parts as required
• Maintain proper housekeeping in the workshop
• Participate in safety and continuous improvement activities
Reporting Line
Reports to the Workshop Manager
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Craft Certificate in Machining or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a machine shop environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
3. Workshop Manager ( 1 Positions)
Job Overview
The Workshop Manager will be responsible for managing machine shop operations to ensure effective fabrication, repair, and maintenance support to plant equipment in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement best workshop practices and procedures
• Plan and supervise machine shop activities in line with HSE requirements
• Provide technical guidance on machining and fabrication processes
• Develop and maintain workshop standard operating procedures
• Manage workshop manpower, tools, and materials
• Maintain accurate job records using ERP system
• Prepare and manage workshop budgets
• Ensure quality control of all fabricated and repaired parts
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance for workshop equipment
Reporting Line
Reports to the Head of Asset Care
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in machine shop supervision or management
• Strong leadership and organization skills
• Computer literacy and ERP experience will be an added advantage
4. Refrigeration Technician (3 Positions)
Job Overview
The Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for installation, operation, and maintenance of refrigeration and cooling systems to ensure proper temperature control for production and storage facilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain industrial refrigeration systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Monitor temperature control systems in production and storage areas
• Troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs
• Maintain maintenance records and logbooks
• Ensure safe handling of refrigerants
• Comply with safety, environmental, and company procedures
• Attend to breakdowns during shifts
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Certificate or Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience in industrial refrigeration
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems will be an added advantage
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Willingness to work shifts
5. Boiler Operator (2 Positions)
Job Overview
The Boiler Operator will be responsible for safe and efficient operation of boilers and utility systems to ensure continuous steam supply for manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor steam boilers and auxiliary equipment
• Check pressure, temperature, and water levels
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Maintain boiler logbooks and operating records
• Follow all safety and statutory regulations
• Assist in boiler start-up and shutdown procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of the boiler house
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Boiler Operator Certificate / Trade Certificate / Mechanical qualification
• Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience operating industrial boilers
• Knowledge of steam systems and water treatment
• Good understanding of safety procedures
