STORES SUPERVISOR – HUNTLEY (01)
The Required Skills for this Role include:
- Checking of the daily issues and ensuring that all Goods Received Vouchers are properly coded and captured on pastel and on an excel throughputs both at the filling station and main stores
- Signing off the Good Received Voucher (GRV) before they are binned for stock items
- Preventing the buying of substandard quality stock.
- Arranging for a periodical and monthly stock take.
- Reconciling the physical count and report to the Commercial Manager.
- Creating new stock item codes which are not in the inventory listing spread sheet.
- Evaluating stock prices if any.
- Making sure the daily fuel reports for both petrol and diesel are reported on good time.
- Planning fuel distribution as per departmental request
- Controlling the issuance of stock by scrutinizing requisition forms and ensuring all requests are properly authorized by the relevant department heads.
- Supervising stores subordinates, ensuring proper records are maintained and company stores procedures, are strictly adhered to.
- Accurately receiving, inspecting, and recording all purchased goods and ensuring that they are in good condition and match the purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Monitoring stock levels
- Maintaining minimum and maximum stock levels
- Updating bin cards, and advise superiors on replenishment needs
The Required Qualifications are:
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma/Degree in Purchasing and Supply
- 3years experience in Stores Management
- Membership of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
The Required Attributes Include:
- Accurate and punctual
- 2years experience in sage Pastel Inventory system
- Self-driven and accepting delegated duties
- Good Communication Skills
REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN – HUNTLEY (01)
The Required Skills for this Role include:
• Repairing of cold rooms, blasts and holding freezers
• Observing the performance of cold storage systems at periodic times of the day
• Recording the performance of the cold storage systems
• Maintaining good house-keeping in the plant rooms
• Checking oil and refrigerant levels in all the plant refrigeration system on a daily basis
• Mending broken refrigeration circuits and re-gassing the units
• Ensuring that all the evaporator and condenser fans are working accordingly
• Ensuring that the control systems like pressure switches and thermostats in the units are all functional and inspected on a daily basis as per checklist that will be drawn up according to each unit.
• The technician will be responsible to do daily preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedule.
The Required Qualifications are:
- Full grade 12 Certificate with 5 credits inclusive of Mathematics and English
- Diploma in Refrigeration/ Electrical Engineering
- Experience working with Ammonia
- 5 years’ experience in Similar role
The Required Attributes Include:
- 1-year experience in sage Pastel Inventory system
- Accurate and punctual
- Self-driven and accepting delegated duties
- Strong numerical and computation skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good Communication Skills
- Physical fitness
- Ability to work shifts and stand for long hours
