We are seeking a qualified and experienced Equipment Inspector to join our team at our cement plant in Lusaka. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and ensuring the proper functioning of plant equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of batching plant equipment and machinery
- Identify faults, defects, and maintenance requirements
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate inspection and maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate (minimum requirement)
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in maintenance of mixing plant equipment or similar machinery
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience
- Prior experience in equipment inspection or mechanical maintenance is required
- Experience in concrete batching plants or similar industrial environments will be an added advantage
