The Tier 3 Specialist ensures service activation and service assurance in the operations division and manages effective and efficient project roll outs.
Provides High Level support for all customer base.
Configures, installs and maintains network devices.
Supports & troubleshoots network services.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
•Liaises with service providers and partners around network planning, solution & integration.
•Compiles and updates network documentation.
•Network Management.
•Visits data centres for network related actions, including installation and maintenance.
•Applies upgrades and patches to core network.
•Ensures Core Network device configurations have been backed up.
•Liaises with R & D on new solutions.
•Provide support and monitoring of Core Network elements.
•Reporting on Core networks.
•Provides high level technical support to the second line support team (Tier 2) for all FastNet products.
•Maintaining the integrity of the Company's management systems.
•Provides support with technical process documentation for network solutions to relevant divisions.
•Tests and deploys new Core firmware.
•Network capacity planning.
•Improve Network availability and reliability.
•Develop Proactive approach to Network Management.
•Ensures Network operational readiness for the deployment of new product and services.
•Manages core network implementation and architecture.
•Manages core network devices and software versions.
•Provides Monthly reports.
•Manages customer escalation when necessary.
•Liaises with 3rd party vendors.
•Engages the client and service provider on network requirements.
Performs network profiling & reporting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•Minimum of 5 years of Network Technical Support, Network Engineering and design.
•Experience in supporting, designing and implementing LAN, WAN and WiFi Networks. Layer 2 and layer 3.
•Experience with Network Management Tools.
•CCNP, CCIP, CCSP or higher essential.
•Own transport.
