Position: Crane Operator
Job Summary:
Tradelinks Distributors Limited is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate mobile or tower cranes safely and efficiently
- Lift, move, and position materials as directed on site
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report faults immediately
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Maintain clear communication with site supervisors and team members
- Keep accurate records of crane operations and maintenance
- Report all incidents, damages, or safety concerns promptly
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 9/12 certificate
- Valid Crane Operator certification/licence
- 5 experience as a crane operator in construction or industrial projects
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and load limits
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High level of responsibility and attention to detail
