Clinical Program Coordinator – FULL TIME
Location – Lusaka
Reports to: CountryProgram Manager
This position also maintains functional reporting lines to the Medical
Director of the assigned country clubfoot program and to Hope Walks
Director of Technical Support for quality clinical oversight.
Frequency of Travel: Travel up to 25% will be required to provide oversight of program
activities.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
To support the overall functioning of the assigned country's Clubfoot Program in an effort to
eliminate clubfoot as a disability and fulfill Hope Walks' mission. The position will maintain a
focus on providing supervision, training, and mentoring to ensure effective and high-quality
clinical treatment of clubfoot in the assigned country.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Develop and educate a strategic network of Ponseti-trained clubfoot clinicians to ensure
quality clinical treatment is provided in Hope Walks partner clubfoot clinics.
2. Manage the activities related to the national clubfoot program's clinical services within
the approved annual budget and strategic operational plan.
3. Ensure appropriate documentation and reporting by clinicians and clinic coordinators.
4. Utilize the Patient Assessment Toward Healing (PATH) digital health tool and Hope Walks’ established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure all clinical activities and
outcomes meet or exceed strategic objectives.
5. Assist in solving any clinical challenges, seeking appropriate support from the Program
Manager, Country Medical Director, and other Hope Walks leadership.
6. Undertake regular planning and program review with the Program Manager and Country Medical Director to ensure collaboration and alignment of activities with the country's strategic plan.
7. Provide advice and insight on clinical program quarter budgetary needs to the Program
Manager.
8. Provide continual feedback on clinical services to the Program Manager and other
identified partners within the agreed-upon and established timeframes and reporting
formats.
9. Facilitate ongoing training, workshops, and seminars for clinicians on the correct
management of clubfoot with the Ponseti method, including patient documentation.
10. Provide supervision and mentoring of Ponseti providers, putting in place strategies to
ensure high-quality treatment.
11. Actively develop and maintain clinical partnerships with relevant organizations, partners, and entities to ensure local ownership and commitment to the Hope Walks clubfoot program with particular attention to brace production, supply and quality, and the procurement of quality medical supplies.
12. Ensure each partner clinic always has the necessary supplies and materials needed for
quality clubfoot treatment and care.
13. Maintain a list of suppliers, routinely updating quotes every three years to ensure the
best quality/cost ratio possible.
14. 14. Utilize data to monitor and ensure the clinics' appropriate use of supplies according to patient numbers.
15. Through national program approval processes, manage reimbursements of fees to clinic
sites for work completed on receipt of reports.
16. Create and educate networks for early detection, patient referral, community
sensitization, and awareness raising.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor Degree, in a relevant clinical or allied health area, such as
Physiotherapy, Clinical Officer, Orthopedic Technician, Medical Doctor
2. Required language: English and fluency in at least one language relevant to the region
3. A minimum of three years experience and demonstrated competence in the Ponseti
Method of clubfoot treatment
4. Demonstrated ability to provide teaching and training of clinical skills
5. Prior supervisory background
