The University is seeking to recruit suitably qualified individual for the position of Receptionist:
Job purpose
The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for students, staff, visitors, and stakeholders. The role is responsible for managing the front desk on a daily basis, ensuring a welcoming, professional, and efficient reception environment, while providing administrative and clerical support to facilitate smooth university operations.
Qualifications;
- Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience and Competencies;
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative or front office role, preferably within an academic or institutional environment.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and external visitors.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
· High level of professionalism, interpersonal skills, and stakeholder engagement ability.
· Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to maintaining a welcoming and supportive university environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
