Position Title: Finance Assistant

Position Overview
Klapton Re Plc is seeking a capable and highly disciplined Finance Assistant to support the investor relations function within a listed environment. The role involves providing support in managing the Company’s engagement with shareholders, prospective investors, analysts, regulators, rating agencies, and capital markets stakeholders, ensuring clarity, consistency, and credibility across all external financial communications. This position is embedded within the finance function.
This role demands independence and discretion while remaining firmly grounded in the Company’s financial discipline and long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investor Relations Reporting and Coordination
- Assist in preparing investor presentations, briefing materials, financial summaries, and supporting schedules.
- Support maintenance of investor relations reporting calendars.
- Coordinate internal information required for investor updates, market announcements, and rating agency submissions.
- Maintain organised records of investor correspondence, presentations, and engagement activities.
2. Data verification and financial analysis support
- Assist with verification and reconciliation of financial and operations information.
- Support preparation of data packs and schedules for results presentations, annual reports, interim reports, and rating reviews.
- Assist in monitoring investor, analyst, and market feedback.
3. Stakeholder and Administrative Support
- Support day-to-day investor and credit stakeholder information requests.
4. Disclosure and Governance Support
- Work closely with Finance, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
- Support compliance with listing requirements, governance standards, and regulatory communication obligations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Approximately 2–3 years’ experience in finance, accounting, corporate finance or related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and standard business reporting tools.
