Vacancy: Human Resource Manager – Logistics
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Human Resource Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in a logistics or transport environment and possess strong knowledge of human resource management practices, labour laws, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention strategies.
- Handle disciplinary processes, grievances, and employee relations matters.
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Code Act and other labour regulations.
- Coordinate performance management and staff development programs.
- Oversee payroll administration and employee benefits.
- Support management in workforce planning and organizational development.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Human Resource Management, preferably within a logistics, transport, or fleet management environment.
- Sound knowledge of Zambian labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
- Experience handling recruitment, performance management, training, and employee relations.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
