About the Programme
Mooto Holdings Ltd, with support from Unearthodox, a Swiss non-profit organisation focused on supporting vulnerable communities, is inviting applications from young people living with disabilities to participate in a 12-month Software Development Traineeship Programme.
The programme is designed to equip young people living with disabilities with practical digital skills that can enable them to work remotely, earn an income, and contribute meaningfully to society.
Many young people living with disabilities have the capacity, talent, and commitment to perform effectively in different professional roles. However, they often face discrimination and barriers to employment because some companies believe that employing a person with a disability requires major adjustments in the workplace. With the growth of technology and remote work, young people living with disabilities now have greater opportunities to build careers in areas such as software development, web development, graphic design, and other digital services.
Through this traineeship, Mooto Holdings Ltd will provide practical training while also engaging local and international companies to consider hiring trained participants as full-time, part-time, freelance, or remote workers.
