The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for:
- Assembling of machinery and equipment
- Installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Ensuring the machines are correctly functioning to avoid downtime
- Ensure the machinery and equipment are installed according to their blueprints.
- Repair broken down machines and equipment in a timely manner
- Diagnose every issue and replace faulty machinery as needed
- Be able to interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand the specifications of the machinery and installation requirements
- Be able to work closely with Engineers and other technical experts to troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise during operations process.
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate must atleast possess a craft certificate in Mechanical Fitting profession. Higher qualifications will be an advantage.
- Must have atleast 5 years hands-on work experience in the same field, preferably in a milling or mining industry.
- Must be willing to relocate to Mumbwa, or preferably a local resident of Mumbwa area.
