Vacant Position: Yard Mechanic Station: Eezy Group Yard
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to accurately diagnose issues.
- Examine vehicle computer and electronic systems for repair, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity.
- Repair brake and steering systems.
- Replace or repair vehicle transmissions and fuel components as required.
- Service cooling systems, including air conditioners and engine cooling units.
- Perform emissions inspections, safety checks, and other regulated vehicle examinations.
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Competencies and Skills
- Diploma in Automotive Engineering.
- Trade Test qualification.
- Proven experience as a mechanic.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines with strong organizational and time management skills.
