Need a blend of customer service, sales, and operational support. Should primarily assist customers who visit the store or call on the phone, leveraging their knowledge of electrical components to help clients find the right products. This role is vital for maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the overall efficiency of the branch
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer service and sales support:
Greeting and assisting customers: Welcome customers at the counter or on the phone and help them find the specific electrical/ instrumentation products they need as per their requirements or as requested.
Providing product knowledge: Use knowledge of electrical/ Instrumentation products, and their applications to offer recommendations and explain features to customers.
Invoicing, Orders Processing and Payment Transactions: Enter customer orders accurately into the system, generate quotations, order confirmations, invoicing, process payments and handle returns.
Handle enquiries from client: Respond to customer questions about products, pricing, stock availability, and delivery schedules efficiently and professionally.
Processing transactions: Operate the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system to efficiently and accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges.
Upselling and cross-selling: Suggest additional or alternative products to help customers complete their projects and maximize sales opportunities.
Following safety procedures: Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment for both employees and customers.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Excellent Communication, Presentation, Sales and Marketing Skills
- Technical knowledge - Electrical/ Instrumentation
- Should be well versed with customer service.
- Should be cognizant of accounts.
- Should be computer literate including Microsoft 365 & other basic applications.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full Grade Twelve Certificate
- Diploma or an Advanced Certificate in in field of Sales & Marketing will be an advantage and preferred.
- 1-2years of experience in the related field will be an advantage and preferred.
- Fluency in Bemba English,
- Should have basic knowledge of Counter Sales/ Customer Service/ Invoicing/ POS/ accounts.
- Must have a positive and hardworking personality.
Work Hours: 9hrs/ day _ Monday to Friday & 04hrs on Saturday
