ASSISTANT CHEF
Responsibilities:
- Help the chef with food preparation and cooking.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized at all times.
- Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients before cooking.
- Assist in serving and plating food.
- Make sure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and properly stored.
- Follow food safety and hygiene rules.
- Help with stock checking and reporting when supplies are running low.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have completed Grade 12 with a full certificate.
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience working in a restaurant, café, or hotel kitchen.
- Should be neat, organized, and able to follow instructions.
- Must be punctual and willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
