Zimworx is looking for a creative and proactive Social Media & Marketing Assistant to support our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is digitally savvy, highly organized, and excited to contribute to marketing and communication efforts while also supporting day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow presence across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
- Assist with YouTube content management, uploads, and engagement.
- Support in creating and scheduling engaging digital content aligned with brand strategy.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and audience engagement.
- Provide administrative and PA support to executives as needed.
- Handle incoming calls and client communications in a professional manner.
- Assist in general marketing tasks, including campaign tracking and reporting.
- Utilize Dawn Patrol (or similar tools) for analytics, tracking, and marketing insights.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing.
- Knowledge of YouTube management and digital engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with Dawn Patrol analytics tool is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to both creative marketing tasks and administrative duties.
- A positive, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
- Must be a Zambian citizen and able to work on-site in our Lusaka Offices.
