We are therefore inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:
Position: Lorry Mate
Location: Lusaka
Contract: One (1) Year – Renewable based on performance
Remuneration: Commission-based with a base salary
Reporting to: Driver Salesman
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the driver/salesman with daily delivery operations.
- Load and offload products safely and correctly.
- Help check delivery notes, invoices, and quantities of goods.
- Ensure products are delivered to the correct customers.
- Assist with cash handling or returns as instructed by the driver/salesman.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the lorry at all times.
- Help secure goods to prevent damage during transportation.
- Follow National Breweries rules, safety procedures, and instructions.
- Report any damages, shortages, or issues to the driver/salesman.
- Provide courteous and respectful service to customers.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be literate (able to read and write).
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Must have a Grade 12 Certificate.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work.
- Honest, reliable, and punctual.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
