The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, controlling risks, and ensuring project objectives align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and deliver projects from initiation to completion
- Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules
- Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed
- Manage project budgets and control costs
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
- Ensure quality standards and compliance with company policies
- Prepare regular project reports and status updates
- Facilitate meetings and ensure clear communication across teams
Qualifications & Experience
Experience
- Minimum of 5–10 years of proven experience managing complex projects from initiation to completion
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget
- Strong background in managing cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and executive leadership
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Master’s degree (MBA, MSc in Project Management, or equivalent) is a strong advantage
Certifications (Highly Preferred)
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Agile / Scrum Certification
Technical & Professional Skills
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello)
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
