We are a reputable waste management company providing reliable waste collection and disposal services. We are currently seeking experienced and responsible Skip Truck Drivers to join our operations team.
Job Summary:
The Skip Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, delivery, and collection of skip bins from client locations while ensuring compliance with road safety and waste-handling regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate skip trucks safely to deliver and collect skip bins from customer sites
- Load, transport, and unload skip bins in accordance with safety procedures
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance needs
- Ensure proper placement and secure loading of skips
- Follow assigned routes, schedules, and company instructions
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and environmental regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle
- Complete delivery records and job documentation accurately
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Valid Type B and Type C driving licenses
- Proven experience driving skip trucks or heavy commercial vehicles
- Good understanding of road safety and defensive driving practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings
- Physically fit and capable of handling operational duties
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Good communication and customer service skills
Preferred (Advantageous):
- Previous experience in waste management or logistics
- Basic mechanical knowledge
