HVGadgets is a fast-growing Zambian e-commerce company specializing in consumer electronics sourced locally, from Dubai, and China.
We are looking for a Customer Success Intern to support customer communication, improve response times, and help guide customers through the purchase process using approved scripts and internal processes.
This is an office-based, structured role with clear boundaries and performance expectations. It is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in customer success and e-commerce operations.
The role is offered on a 6-month probation period, with the possibility of confirmation and salary adjustment based strictly on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via WhatsApp, website chat, and email
- Use approved scripts to answer common customer questions
- Handle basic trust, delivery, and payment-related inquiries
- Escalate high-value or sensitive cases to senior staff
- Follow up on pending customer conversations when assigned
- Maintain a professional and consistent tone in all communication
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal English
- Basic computer literacy
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to follow scripts and instructions strictly
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
- Availability during working hours, including Saturday half-day
Probation & Growth
- Probation period: 6 months
- Intern stipend during probation: K1,000 gross per month
- Post-confirmation salary: Reviewed and increased up to K3,500 gross per month, based on performance
- Confirmation is not automatic and depends on reliability, response quality, and adherence to processes
