Company: Hoop Microcredit Limited
Hoop Microcredit Limited is a fast-growing microfinance institution providing fast, short-term
loans to individual business owners and entrepreneurs. We are seeking a competent, detailoriented, and results-driven Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations
and support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee all financial operations, accounting, and reporting
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports
• Monitor loan portfolio performance and financial risks
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Oversee payroll, taxation, and statutory obligations
• Provide financial analysis and advice to management for decision-making
• Strengthen internal controls and financial systems
Qualifications
• Certified Public Accountant
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration,
Economics, or related fields
• Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in the finance sector or a similar managerial
role
Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong financial management and accounting skills
• High organizational, planning, and analytical abilities
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, computer applications and MS Excel
• Good understanding of microfinance operations is an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and problem-solving skills
