Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Utilize differentiated instructional strategies to plan learning activities and classroom groupings.
- Develop and implement rigorous, age-appropriate lesson plans and assessments.
- Work closely with school leaders to analyze pupil assessment data, monitor progress, and inform instructional decisions.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams to review pupil work, share best practices, and plan academic events.
- Engage families through strong relationships and consistent communication to support pupil learning.
- Demonstrate genuine care, belief, and commitment to pupils’ personal and academic success.
- Commit to continuous professional growth, self-reflection, and openness to feedback.
Education, Experience, and Skills
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Diploma and/or Degree in Education with a record of academic and/or professional achievement.
- Valid TCZ Certification (completed).
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a private school.
- Proven experience teaching in upper school.
- Strong commitment to pupil achievement with high expectations for all learners.
- Ability to motivate, support, and challenge pupils in a child-centered, standards-driven classroom.
- Positive mindset with a strong drive for personal and professional excellence.
- Resilience and a solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
- Outstanding instructional skills informed by data and delivered through engaging, rigorous strategies.
- Full Grade 12 Certificate.
