Job Title: Legal Secretary

Armaguard Security Limited, a leading security services company in Zambia, invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and professional candidates to fill the position of Legal Secretary.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient secretarial and administrative support to the Legal Department
- Prepare and proofread legal documents, correspondence, contracts, and court filings
- Manage and maintain legal files, records, and document control systems
- Coordinate court filings, track deadlines, and manage legal diaries and appointments
- Liaise with courts, external law firms, and relevant institutions
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Any other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 certificate with 5 ‘O’ level credits including Math and English
- Minimum Diploma in Law from a recognized institution
- Minimum of five (5) years’ proven work experience as a Legal Secretary in a busy law firm
- Sound knowledge of legal terminology, documentation, and court procedures applicable in Zambia
- Excellent typing, research, drafting, and Microsoft Office skills
Required Competencies
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
