Network Systems and Website Assessment
1. TERMS OF REFERENCE (TOR)
Macha Research Trust (MRT) invites qualified IT Network and web development Consultancy Firms to provide professional services for the assessment of the existing network infrastructure and provide recommendations for redesigning a secure, reliable, and scalable network infrastructure and website to support Research and University operational activities.
2. SCOPE OF WORK
· Comprehensive network assessment and gap analysis including but not limited to the following:
o Network topology redesign (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)
o Hardware and software upgrade recommendations
o Redundancy and failover mechanisms
o Network segmentation and VLAN configuration
o Quality of services (QoS) implementation
o Cybersecurity controls aligned with best practices
o Centralized network monitoring
o Penetration testing
o Backup and disaster recovery
o Documentation and handover
o Assessment of current website performance, structure, and content management system
3. DELIVERABLES
· Network and website assessment report with recommendations for the following:
o Hardware and software upgrade recommendations
o Redesigned network infrastructure
o Security network assessment
o Disaster recovery framework
o Technical documentation
o Fully functional, responsive, and secure website
o Full documentation of website configuration and setup
o Development of interactive features (e.g., contact forms, resource downloads, search functions, student and HR portal)
o Integration with MRT ‘s research databases and internal system (Where applicable)
4. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
· PACRA Registration
· ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate
· NAPSA Compliance certificate
· NCC registration (Where applicable)
· Proven Experience with similar projects
· Portfolio of similar work ((PDF or website link)
