1. PROGRAM OFFICER
Job Summary
The Program Officer will support project implementation by providing administrative assistance and program management functions to ensure that the various aspects of the STRIDES Activity in Zambia stay on schedule and within budget. The Program Officer collects, compiles, and analyzes information relevant to project activities; S/he provides administrative and project support, contributes to project-related communication and coordination, and may monitor project budgets. Reporting to the STRIDES Zambia Program Manager, the Program Officer supports compliance-related documentation and tracking of subcontractor deliverables, coordinates with the technical team, prepares presentations, and supports other related project objectives and deliverables.

2. RAPID RESPONSE OFFICER
Job Summary
The Rapid Response Officer will provide technical support and guidance and oversee the implementation of the STRengthening Infectious Disease DEtection Systems (STRIDES) emergency response activities in Zambia, directing other professional staff and the rapid response teams as needs are identified in the region and in country office. S/He will supervise and engage with STRIDES technical staff and rapid response team members to ensure that the project’s emergency response activities are aligned with approved workplans and that technical expertise informs project implementation. S/He will implement and monitor technical strengthening initiatives, develop a training strategy, facilitate training and other capacity building activities, and create scientific or other technical materials.ls. The Rapid Response Officer 1 will prepare deliverable reports to the donor highlighting achievements across STRIDES Objective 4/emergency response activities, including the drafting of publications and external communications. S/He leads the development/revision of best practice documents and may be required to coordinate and work with a diverse group of in-country organizations, including USG and host country government counterparts to respond to emergency outbreak response.

3. LABORATORY & DIAGNOSTICS OFFICER
Job Summary:
The Laboratory and Diagnostics Officer will provide technical leadership and guidance to support the staff and projects for the anticipated USAID-funded Global Health Security project for the laboratory and diagnostic components in Zambia. S/He will lead and manage the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic and technical initiatives to strengthen laboratory systems and diagnostic capacities. S/He will provide technical guidance around the issues, challenges, and strategies for building laboratory capacity in Zambia and improving access to quality diagnostic testing related to project activities. S/He will work closely with country-level teams, including the project management team, project technical providers, and key stakeholders to ensure the provision of technical assistance to achieve effective, high-quality, and reliable laboratory services. S/he will lead the development of guidelines and policies for laboratory diagnostic network strengthening activities, provide technical thought leadership at the regional and country levels, and contribute to the development of project statements of work, work plan development, monitoring and evaluation systems, technical reporting, and other administrative elements of the project.
