EMPLOYEE RECRUITMENT NOTICE
Mbembe Construction and Suppliers Limited invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and professionally registered individuals to fill the following vacant positions:
1. Site Foreman
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years
- Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years proven site supervision experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
- Must be a registered member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) with a valid membership
- Must be registered with the Engineering Registration Board (ERB)
2. Mechanic – Mechanical Engineer
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years
- Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in maintenance and repair of construction machinery and vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Must be a registered member of EIZ with a valid membership
- Must be registered with ERB
3. Electrical Engineer
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years
- Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical installations and supervision
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations
- Ability to manage electrical works on construction projects
- Must be a registered member of EIZ with a valid membership
- Must be registered with ERB
4. Site Surveyor
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years
- Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatic Engineering, or related field
- Experience in site setting out, levelling, and use of modern surveying equipment.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and control points
- Must be a registered member of EIZ with a valid membership
- Must be registered with ERB and SIZ
5. Quantity Surveyor
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years
- Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics
- Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration
- Ability to prepare Bills of Quantities and financial reports
- Must be a registered member of EIZ with a valid membership
- Must be registered with ERB
- Must be a member of Zambia Institute of Quantity Surveyors(ZIQS)
