As we expand our operations in Zambia, we are building a team of Test Engineers to help ensure the reliability, accuracy, and performance of our digital platforms.
Role Overview
Cinitec is seeking two highly motivated Test Engineers (QA Interns / Graduates) to support testing of our enterprise systems and applications.
You will work closely with developers and product teams to identify issues, validate fixes, and ensure systems perform reliably under real-world conditions, contributing directly to the quality and readiness of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Test web and mobile applications to ensure correct functionality
- Identify edge cases, system bugs, and potential failures
- Validate data integrity, accuracy, and reporting mechanisms
- Log bugs clearly with reproducible steps, screenshots, and priority levels
- Retest resolved issues to ensure fixes are effective
- Support the QA process from functional testing to regression testing

- Zero critical bugs before deployment
- Stable system performance across test scenarios
- Accurate data validation and reporting
- Clear, structured, and actionable bug reports
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field (or recent graduate)
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and workflows
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Added Advantage
- Familiarity with QA tools (GitHub, Jira, TestRail)
- Experience testing mobile or web applications
- Understanding of data validation and reporting mechanisms
