The Tracking Officer monitors and tracks company vehicles, cargo and drivers in real-time to ensure safe, efficient and timely delivery of goods. The officer also provide support to drivers, coordinate with clients and report on vehicle movements

Key Responsibilities

Monitor vehicle movements, cargo status and driver activities via GPS tracking systems
Respond to alerts e.g stops, accidents etc
Coordinate with drivers, clients and logistics team on delivery schedures and updates
Provide real-time updates to clients on shipments status
Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards and company policies
Monitor driver behaviour e.g speed, driving hours etc
Generate reports on vehicle performance, delays and incidents
Analyse data to improve route planning and efficiency
Manage documentation e.g PODs, trips sheets etc

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Transport Management or any related field
1-2 years experience in transport and logistics operations
Proficiency in GPS tracking systeme and MS Office
Strong communication and problem solving skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
