Job Title: TRAINER/INSTRUCTOR
Direct Reports: OPERATIONS MANAGER
2. JOB PURPOSE
The Trainer/Instructor will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for security guards and related personnel. The role ensures that all staff are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and discipline to perform their duties effectively and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and deliver training programs for new recruits and existing security personnel
- Conduct induction training, refresher courses, and specialized security training
- Train staff on security procedures, emergency response, customer service, and safety protocols
- Assess trainees’ performance and provide feedback and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Maintain accurate training records and reports
- Identify training needs and recommend improvements
- Conduct drills and simulations (e.g., fire, evacuation, incident response)
- Promote discipline, professionalism, and high ethical standards among staff

5. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum · Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate
· Proven experience as a security trainer, instructor, or similar role
· Background in security services, law enforcement, or military is an added advantage
6.EXPERIENCE:
Minimum At least 5 years’ experience in security
