We are looking for a qualified Human Resource Officer to support operations at our manufacturing plant in Lusaka. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing employee relations, supporting shop floor workforce needs, and ensuring smooth coordination between HR and plant operations to maintain a productive and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Manage and resolve employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner
- Support the implementation of HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards
- Conduct investigations and prepare reports on employee relations issues
- Promote a positive work culture through employee engagement initiatives
- Assist in performance management processes and employee development programs
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Advise management on best HR practices and risk mitigation strategies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Strong communication and report-writing abilities
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Must be below the age of 30.
- Must be registered with ZIHRM
