RE: INVITATION TO BID FOR THE SUPPLY OF SOLAR POWERED PORTABLE PUMPS AND ACCESSORIES TO REHABILITATE IRRIGATION SITES TO SUPPORT FARMERS IN MANTAPALA REFUGEE SETTLEMENT, NCHELENGE DISTRICT, LUAPULA PROVINCE.
Caritas Czech Republic is a non-governmental organisation operating in Zambia. In partnership with the Government of the Republic of Zambia through the Ministry of Home Affairs (the Office of the Commissioner for Refugees) with funding from the United Nations World Food Programme, the organisation is currently implementing a project aimed at Supporting Implementation of an Integrated Project in Mantapala Refugee Settlement, Nchelenge District, Luapula Province, Zambia.
On behalf of Caritas Czech Republic, I hereby invite reputable companies to submit bids for the supply and delivery of solar powered portable pumps and accessories to Mantapala Refugee Settlement in Nchelenge District, Luapula Province.

Contents of the offer
- Quotation with the total cost of the solar pump and accessories based on current prices, including transport and installation in Mantapala Settlement (VAT inclusive) and specifications in this call for quotations, signed, stamped and with validity mentioned
- Delivery time-frame
- Warranty
- Supporting documents or their hard copies that demonstrate ability and reputation in the above-mentioned selection criteria updated PACRA Documents (Certificate of Incorporation); ZRA Document (Tax Clearance Certificate); ZPPA Registration Certificate; EIZ Certificate; Bidders’ References; should include other documents relevant to the criteria).
Selection Criteria
The contract will be awarded to the technically and administratively compliant bid that is the most economically advantageous, taking into account the quality of the services offered and the price of the bid.
Bids will be evaluated on the criteria listed below:
Price – total current cost implication (price, transport & installation) of solar pump and accessories (VAT inclusive). Suppliers able to provide economically advantageous prices for pumps and accessories shall be highly prioritised
Quality - Suppliers able to deliver and install the solar pump and accessories that best match the parameters stated in this invitation to bid, suitable for local conditions leading to the best outcome for supported farmers will be prioritized (specified in this invitation to Bid).
Delivery time-frame (Suppliers able to deliver within 7 days after contract signing will be prioritized)
Warranty: - the ability to provide a warranty for the specified pump and accessories and offer basic training in installation and maintenance to the supported farmers will be prioritized
Reputation/Credibility - Suppliers with credible references and accompanying documents will be prioritised.
CCR reserves the right to settle for only some of the quoted suppliers AND/OR select a combination of more than one supplier AND/OR increase/decrease the volume of procurement. In case of the above-described changes in the volume of procurement, the supplier will be informed before placing the order and has the right to decline this suggestion
