Java Foods is seeking energetic, self-driven and customer-focused individuals to join our Sales and Marketing Team as Direct Sales Drivers based in Lusaka and the Copperbelt.
Job Scope
The Direct Sales Driver will be responsible for selling and delivering company products along assigned routes, managing customer relationships, and driving sales growth within their designated territory. The role combines driving, direct selling, and cash handling responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive assigned sales routes and ensure consistent customer coverage
• Sell and distribute products directly to customers along the route
• Develop and grow a strong customer base within the assigned area
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
• Handle cash sales and ensure accurate cash collection and safekeeping
• Balance sales and cash at the end of each working day
• Maintain proper records of sales and stock movement
• Ensure excellent customer service and brand representation
• Report sales performance and route activities as required
Minimum Requirements:
- Certificate in Business Course or related field
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 2 years
• Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience
• Experience in FMCG sales will be an added advantage
• Strong numerical and cash-handling ability
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned routes
• Honest, reliable, and results-driven
