1. About HFHZ
Habitat for Humanity Zambia (HFHZ) is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), a global non-profit housing organization dedicated to alleviating housing poverty.
HFHZ has been operating in Zambia since 1984, providing affordable housing solutions, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) services, energy and addressing other critical areas such as livelihoods, gender equality, and climate resilience.
2. Invitation to Apply for Vendor Registration
HFHZ invites reputable and eligible suppliers of goods and services to apply for vendor registration for a period of one (1) year, from 1st July 2026 to 30th June 2027.
Please Note:
A maximum of ten (10) suppliers per category will be selected, subject to meeting HFHZ’s evaluation and due diligence requirements.

A. GOODS
- Office supplies and stationery
- Office equipment (printers, copiers, scanners, shredders, etc.)
- Office furniture and fittings
- Computers, ICT hardware, and accessories
- Motor vehicles, motorcycles, spare parts, and accessories
- Tyres, batteries, and automotive consumables

- Safety and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Health, medical, laboratory, and water testing equipment
- Cleaning materials and consumables
- Agriculture and gardening products
B. SERVICES
- Maintenance and servicing of office equipment
- Maintenance and servicing of fire extinguishers and fire safety equipment
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems
- Internet service provision and ICT support services
- Cleaning, janitorial, and sanitary services
- Customs clearing and forwarding services
- Hotels, lodges, and accommodation services
- Supply of Bottled/Dispenser Water
- Courier and express delivery services
- Printing, publishing, branding, and promotional materials
- Insurance services (vehicles, office assets, and general insurance)
- Travel agency and ticketing services
- Car hire and fleet management services
- Security and guarding services
- Media production (filming, photography, production, and live streaming)
- Research, monitoring, evaluation, and consultancy services
- Social media influencer advertising and digital advocacy
- Creative media agencies (graphic design, infographics, animations)
- Social media and digital advertising (online media houses)
- Transportation, distribution, warehousing, and logistics services
- Cultural and drama groups
- Electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs
- Plumbing installation and maintenance services
- Mechanical works
C. CONSTRUCTION AND TECHNICAL SERVICES
- Supply of building and construction materials
- Civil works and construction contractors (NCC category B or C)
- Borehole drilling, rehabilitation, and equipping services (Valid WARMA Drillers License class A, B, C, D)
4. Borehole drilling, rehabilitation, and equipping services (Valid WARMA Drillers License class A, B, C, D)
5. Borehole rehabilitation, upgrading, network reticulation and equipping and Hydro infrastructure works (Valid WARMA constructors’ licence)
- Renewable energy supplies and works i.e. solar systems, streetlights and accessories (Valid NCC category E)
- Hydrogeology, Hydrology, geological & Soil studies, consultancy services Association of consulting Engineers of Zambia (ACEZ)
- Engineering consultancy services Association of consulting Engineers of Zambia (ACEZ)
- Architectural consultancy and design services Zambia institute of Architects (ZIA)
- Water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) infrastructure services
D. HEALTH, MEDICAL, AND CHEMICAL SUPPLIES
- Medical and first-aid equipment
- Laboratory and water quality testing equipment
- Chemicals for water treatment and sanitation
E. CONSULTANCY SERVICES
- Technical, social, environmental, and governance consultants (individuals/firms)
- Policy research and advocacy
- Capacity building and training consultants
- Legal services
4. Required Documents
Interested applicants must submit the following:
- Cover letter
- Company profile (including physical address, phone numbers, and email addresses)
- Valid ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate
- PACRA Registration Certificate
- Valid ZPPA Certificate
- Valid Workers’ Compensation Certificate
- For Category C vendors only:
- Valid WARMA registration – drilling licence (for drilling companies) and constructors’ licence for contractors
- Valid NCC registration (for contractors)
- Valid EIZ registration (for engineering firms and contractors)
- Valid ACEZ registration (for engineering/hydrology/geological/ consultants)
- Bank reference letter and bank account details
- Proof of past experience (e.g., completion or interim payment certificates, award letters, purchase orders, etc.)
5. Important Notes
- Only applicants meeting the minimum requirements will be shortlisted for pre-qualification inspection.
- Applicants who do not meet the requirements will be automatically disqualified.
- Successful applicants will be invited to participate in competitive tenders.
- Registration does not guarantee award of business.
- Existing HFHZ vendors must re-apply and submit all required documentation.
- Applicants who do not receive feedback by 30th July 2026 should consider their application unsuccessful.
6. Application Process
Completed applications must be submitted via email at Procurement@habitatzam.org.zm by close of business on 19th May 2026
All applications must be clearly marked in the subject line of the email.
