Key Responsibilities:
- Transport workers, supervisors, and visitors to various dewatering sites and mining locations.
- Deliver and collect equipment, tools, and materials required for dewatering operations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, lights) and report any defects promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Assist with basic loading and offloading of equipment and supplies.
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Support site teams with minor logistical tasks when required.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adapt to changing schedules or site demands.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (appropriate class for assigned vehicle).
- Minimum of 2–3 years of driving experience, preferably in mining or industrial environments.
- Good knowledge of local routes and mining site access roads.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in remote and physically demanding environments.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and defensive driving practices.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Valid silicosis certificate
