We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced LPG Sales Trainer to develop and strengthen our sales force through professional training, coaching, and performance development systems.
POSITION: LPG SALES TRAINER
The Sales Trainer will be responsible for training, mentoring, developing, and evaluating all sales personnel within the company. The ideal candidate must understand sales psychology, field marketing, LPG product education, customer engagement, team building, and performance coaching.
This role requires someone energetic, disciplined, strategic, and capable of building a high-performing sales culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Training & Development
- Develop and conduct comprehensive LPG sales training programs
- Train new and existing sales staff on:
- LPG product knowledge
- Cylinder handling and safety awareness
- Customer engagement techniques
- Sales conversion skills
- Lead generation strategies
- Negotiation and closing techniques
- Door-to-door sales approaches
- Corporate and household client acquisition
- Conduct onboarding training for all new sales staff
- Prepare weekly and monthly training schedules
2. Team Coaching & Mentorship
- Conduct daily motivation sessions and morning drills
- Mentor team leaders and sales assistants
- Identify weak performers and provide corrective coaching
- Improve staff confidence, communication, and professionalism
- Build discipline, accountability, and performance culture
3. Sales Performance Management
- Monitor individual and team KPIs
- Ensure sales agents meet monthly LPG targets
- Track:
- LPG kilograms sold
- Leads collected daily
- Conversion rates
- Customer retention
- Field activity performance
- Recommend performance improvement plans
- Conduct periodic performance assessments and evaluations
4. Field Supervision & Market Activation
- Conduct field visits with sales teams
- Observe and improve customer interaction techniques
- Support teams during activations and campaigns
- Ensure proper product demonstrations and customer education
- Assist in expanding customer databases and market reach
5. Safety & Compliance Training
- Train staff on LPG handling and operational safety
- Ensure compliance with company and industry safety procedures
- Promote safe transportation and cylinder handling practices
- Conduct emergency response awareness training
- Reinforce company policies and professional conduct standards
6. Reporting & Administration
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly training reports
- Maintain staff training attendance records
- Prepare sales development reports for management
- Assist management in recruitment assessments and interviews
- Recommend new training strategies and market approaches

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in:
- Sales & Marketing
- Business Administration
- Human Resource Management
- Education & Training
- Public Relations
- Or related field
- Minimum 2–5 years experience in:
- Sales training
- Field marketing
- LPG or FMCG sales
- Team leadership
- Strong understanding of sales systems and KPIs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Computer literacy (Excel, reporting, presentations)
ADDED ADVANTAGES
- Experience in LPG, petroleum, or energy industry
- Experience managing field sales teams
- Ability to create sales systems and structures
- Experience in performance coaching and recruitment
- Valid driver’s license
