About the Role
Our client, Mighty Fin, is seeking a proactive and organised Human Resources Officer to support recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and day-to-day HR operations across the organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in talent acquisition, HR administration, employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and labour regulations within a fast-paced fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation processes.
- Assist in sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for open roles.
- Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Coordinate performance management processes, staff appraisals, and feedback cycles.
- Support employee training and development initiatives.
- Assist with payroll coordination, attendance management, and leave administration.
- Support employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives.
- Assist with employee relations matters, disciplinary processes, and resolution of routine HR queries.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and HR procedures.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and compliance standards.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain effective administrative processes.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a relevant Social Science discipline.
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Valid ZIHRM Certification.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in:
- Human Resources;
- Administration;
- Talent Acquisition;
- Employee Relations; and
- HR Operations.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and labour regulations.
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Strong organisational and records management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or other high-growth organisations.
- Familiarity with HR information systems and payroll platforms.
- Exposure to performance management systems and training coordination.
- Ability to support multiple business locations and priorities.
Compensation
The incumbent will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
