Chitiya Group is a collective brand representing three growing Zambian businesses: Palwendo Car Hire, Nilandi Web Services, and Chitiya Retreat. We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Sales & Operations Officer to support business growth and operational excellence across all three companies.

Purpose of the Role

To drive sales, coordinate daily operations, strengthen customer relationships, and support business growth across all Chitiya Group business units while ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development (40%)

Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Visit corporate clients, hotels, NGOs, government institutions, and SMEs.
Generate quotations and follow up on leads.
Negotiate and close sales.
Maintain a sales pipeline and CRM.
Meet monthly sales targets.

2. Customer Relationship Management (20%)

Respond to customer enquiries.
Coordinate bookings and reservations.
Manage customer complaints professionally.
Encourage repeat business and referrals.

3. Operations Coordination (25%)

Coordinate vehicle bookings and schedules.
Facilitate vehicle inspection on pick up and drop off.
Coordinate website projects and hosting renewals with the Nilandi technical team.
Liaise with partners and service providers.

4. Marketing Support (10%)

Create and manage social media campaigns.
Attend exhibitions and networking events.
Coordinate with Sales Consultants
Distribute promotional materials.
Collect customer testimonials and success stories.

5. Administration & Reporting (5%)

Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
Track KPIs.
Maintain accurate customer records.
Support invoicing and payment follow-up.

Job Requirements

Ideal Candidate

Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.
At least 1 years' experience in sales, customer service, or operations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
Experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
Valid driver's licence is a must
Self-motivated and willing to travel within Lusaka and surrounding areas.
